There is usually one or two musicians performing. Lytton is recorded to be the hottest place in Canada, but the market is on a shaded street, with multiple tents.

The program is inspired by the beautiful mountain environment of Whistler and Alta Lake Station House, the rustic heritage home located on Alta Lake waterfront with views of Whistler, Blackcomb and Wedge Mountain. Sat Sun	6/26- 9/5	Sun Peaks & Region Farmers' Market Help us create sustainable local industry by purchasing local free range & organic produce. Local farmers will be in the Village Square every Sunday this summer selling fruit & veggies pulled from the ground or picked from trees that morning.
Wed Wed	6/30- 9/15	Golden Farmers' Market Visitors to the Golden Farmers' Market will find a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables from several local growers. Artisans' wares include pottery, soaps, jewellery, art photography, woodwork and more. Locally produced honey is a popular choice for market-goers. Artisan breads and home made pies are another favourite. The smell of hot dogs with fried onions in the air and the sounds of live music all add to the delicious-ness and fun of our Market every Wednesday in the summer. Come visit and try for yourself.

Thu Tue	7/1- 8/31	ArtWalk ArtWalk features regional artists and artisans in host “galleries” throughout Whistler Village including cafes, retail outlets, hotels and restaurants. Artists from Lions Bay to Lillooet showcase works of painting, photography, multi-media, fibre arts, sculpture, pottery and jewellery. ArtWalk bridges the gap between tourism, business and culture in this free two-month walking tour that brings local art to high-traffic venues. Participating venues host opening receptions at the beginning of July and August where art and business create social gathering spaces with live music, interactive creations, live art and dance.

The first opening night receptions will be held at venues throughout Nelson on Friday, July 2nd from 6 to 9 pm. Those exhibits run through until August 6. The second series of exhibits start with opening night events on Friday, Aug 6th from 6 to 9 pm.
